Minneolopis 17-30

I laid my eyes on a 17-30 today, first I've ever seen, 4 cylinder sets cross ways. It looks to be worthy of saving. Any one have any idea of the worth of one, it has good fenders, steel wheels look good, looks to be all there. even the glass thingy on top of the engine is there and not broke.

Do you have any pictures of it? Seeing it and what condition it is in helps a lot. As long as it is complete, it is definitely worth a decent amount. If you go into the tractor values it gives how much they have been listed for on this forum and how many have been listed on the forum. The price ranges from 1,400 in rough condition to 15,000 in pristine condition.

As I said, if you can post pictures of it, it will help a lot with estimating the value and I am sure many on here would be interested to see.

Sounds like a very rare tractor. No idea of value. But...7-8 years ago a friend bought a very rusty nonrunning(stuck motor) 1916 EmersomBrantingham Big Four 20 for $11,000.Eleven thousand. It was estimated the tractor would bring upwards of $20,000 on the day of auction.Hope this helps. BTW, the tractor is now running and makes regular appearances in local parades and 'shows'.

See one that runs at Lindsay tx show this labor day. BJZ is on Moline board. Think there is youtube vid of first startup.

I used to own a 17-30 B Minneapolis...There are actually quite a few left..

The top 17-30 B ran nice and sold for $7,000 at Wichita,KS in 2012...I thought it was too cheap..

The middle restored 17-30 B Minneapolis sold for $24,000 at Lathrop,MO in 2015...

The bottom 17-30 B is the one I used to own....I bought it in 1975 at Rocanville,Saskatchewan for under $1000.

They made a 17-30 A which is shorter than the B's..If you can get the 17-30 for under $5,000 you will be lucky..
