Got any trailer pictures or stories of trailers for 01gentdc?

Here is my tractor on the way home. I was scared/excited/apprehensive/and real anxious
to get started. The trailer was a uhaul rental that was a major pain but worked out in
the end.

Do not usually go very far, just some local shows. Did do a 700 mile, 14 hour round trip last August to get a JD A parts tractor. Sure had a lot rubber neckers on the interstate.

Story goes when my eldest brother brought this big tri-ax trailer out to the farm it was "Surfing" his half ton truck empty. The thing on it is another project(bale wagon "parts"), something that they bring things in to the Nuclear power plant on(so the neighbor that sold it to us says).

Here is the lower car trailer with a load of firewood(barn roof).. Brought the TD6 home on it, just a tad over load, all four wheels had squatting rights.

Hey Randy ,, That's the VICON mower , I really did not need,, loox like that was a drop on load ...

Hauling 6,250 gal of
chloride for my
regular job last
summer, hauled over 2
million gallons of it.
It is heavier than it
looks as it is 13
lbs/gallon from the
well. Hauling logs on
the weekends. Some of
you may remember the
W900 KW daycab as the
one I wrapped the cab
into the trailer after
running over a deer.
It is still in the
body shop, getting a
nee cab. Load of
doubles like that can
weigh from 140-170,000
lbs depending on
whatcha got on there.
Hard to "guess" the
legal weight due to
length, diameters,
moisture content,
species variation, air
gaps, etc.

Dropped on by the auctioneer himself. It was all his FWA Deere wanted to lift and then some. I used two loaders to load it up when it went south.

Well the first one is of my dual tandem trailer with a JD 4450 MFWD tractor on it. This trailer has a hydraulic tail. I got tired of handling ramps. The second pictures is of my homemade lawn mower trailer. The third trailer is a fellow YTer Wilamayb hauling his bounty home. LOL

those dump trucks are dumping on top of a pile of recycled grindings coming off a highway in columbus ohio the pile is estimated at half a million tons that flag to the left is about a hundred and ten feet high off the ground gives you a idea how big the pile actually is.

This is not my best one...can't find it. But this was scary enough. The thing to remember is...you have to get it DOWN also. This was only accomplished by hooking the trailers winch onto the tail wheel to keep the fool thing from pivoting right off the side of the trailer.

This New Holland gear is the best trailing wagon I have owned. Go down the road 60 mph. loaded or empty if you want and no wipping at all.

An old picture. I have sense traded the truck for a 2011 F-150 and sold the B. The older I got the harder it was to start the B.

Not mine but a picture of a trailer a friend of mine uses to haul a regular.

I looked but couldn't find a picture of the amazing dangerous homemade trailer I used to haul my NH 1469 a few times. It was Grandpa's although I'm not sure that he made it. In any case it consists of an old 2 ton frame welded onto what used the be the front axle. Two pieces of channel run along outside and slightly above the tires for the haybine tires to drive in. You have to unhook it from the bumper in order to be able to load and unload and hope it doesn't swing too much left or right. The whole thing wiggles and flops while going down the road.

Well he has a JD 343 corn head on the top of the neck. Then the header off the windrower. The windrower power unit. and then a pickup header. Quite the load of valuables. LOL

I have used U-hauls to take the ferggie or the B414 to the tractor run I go on.One year a buddy of mine and I took both tractors on u hauls. When the agent asks what I'm haulling, I tell him its a '54 Ford or a '64 International p/u depending on the tractor. I think my wifes SC would be a tad heavey for a u haul.

hey there, chief !,,, that is what we are fishing for too ,,. trailer and truck surfing possibilities,, that works and was survivable...

Yup.

Most thought the trailer was to light for the job.

Friend of mine pulled the trailer.

He made about 1600 miles in two days out and back.
