Hydraulic valve

I am planning on adding hydraulics to one of my tractors. I had a chance to pick up a Char Lynn control valve (shown below). It's slightly different from the other ones I have. In addition to the regular inlet and outlet ports it has a 5th port coming out the back (the one the screwdriver is pointing to).
Some literature I have indicates that this is where the relief valve is located. My question is how do I hook this up? I'm assuming I can't just put a plug in it. Do I plumb it into the return line or what?
Has anyone else ever seen one like this?
Thanks for your help!

The ports should be numbered. No. 1 is input from the pump. No.2 is the working port (to cylinder), 3 is the return from 2 (back to reservoir). Usually there is a schematic of the valve on a plate or cast in. Get the number and look at online catalogs for the type of valve and working pressures.

The two on each side are the input and return lines. The two on top go to the cylinder and back. It's that 5th one out the back that I'm not sure about.

It could be a power beyond port that allows use of another valve downstream from it. Like Mike said, there should be some numbers on it that will allow you to look it up online, or call the mfg and ask.

I have one like that hanging on the wall out in the shed, came off my Super M, I'll take a look at it later.

(quoted from post at 13:07:58 03/01/16) Is that for a pressure relief?
According to info I have, I think it is.
But then, do I just leave it open like that, or hook something into it? If it did release wouldn't it shoot oil all over if it's not connected somewhere?

Mines a little different, nothing where the screw driver is pointing but a big screw ahead of it.

Gab, the other ones I have all look like yours. This is the first one I have ever seen with an opening back there.
There is precious little info out there on these valves. Char Lynn is now part of Eaton Co. and all they make any more is orbital motors.

Are you sure there is a hose supposed to go there? That is where on mine the relief setting valve is in that you take out and change for pressures of like 1000# or 1500# or 1800# or 2000#. Looks like that relief valve carterige is missing and if it is it will not work, They were from factory at 1200# valve relief.

I have the schematic/parts list which shows what is supposed to be in that hole. I took it apart and everything is there.
So what I'm trying to find out is what does get screwed to that fitting--just a plug, or some kind of hose? And if it's a hose where does the other end go?
