can someone tell me what could be killing my 1961 861 ford powermaster after it heats up. it wont start again until it cools.
 

or ignition switch,, or condenser or plugged fuel cap vent, or vapor locking due to fuel line routing and ethanol boiling.
 
You need to learn simple trouble shooting 101.
#1 test for spark the moment it dies. You need a good blue/white spark form the center wire on the cap and at all 4 plug wires that jump a 1/4 inch gap or more. If you have that then go to step #2
#2 pull the carb drain plug out of the bottom of the carb and make sure you have a good steady flow of gas that will fill a pint jar in less then 3 minutes.
