Case 1175 hydaulic issue

I have an 1175 Case tractor. My problem is the hydraulics. Specifically when the front end loader has weight on it, the control level to move the loader down needs to be "jammed" hard to make the lever activate the hydraulics. Once the lever gets forced into the release position the loader drops a foot before the hydraulics "catch up" and the loader continues to move slowly down. Needless to say this problem causing difficulty when using the loader to move bales around. The problem does not occur to move the loader up.

Just wonder if anyone has come across this problem and what can be done to fix it.

Thanks

May be a leaking lift cyl.piston seals. This will cause excessive pressure in the cyls.,jamming the spool.

I have a 1030 Case with a loader on it. With an extremely heavy load on it, it does like your 1175. I use to have a three spool valve hooked
to the hydraulics and never had the problem. Seems the three spool valve has a feathering action to let it down smoothly and the tractor
valve doesn't.

If you are using the tractor remote valve to operate the loader, I have to agree with dawg. You have a coupling that is not opening properly and working like a oneway check valve in rhe drop position, and when you jam the lever it opens. Try reversing the hoses on that circuit so the lever works the other way to lift the boom and see what happens. This will tell you if you have a bad coupling.

Do you have the lines paired right? The top right and top left are a pair. Bottom left and bottom right are a pair.

Otherwise I agree that it sounds like a bad coupler.
