It's 40 years to the day today

Unlike some on the board that can post very impressive figures, we can only claim 40yrs.
It hasn't all been plain sailing, but we are still here and still well in love with each other.
I consider myself very blessed to have this girl by my side and as a bonus she enjoys our tractor hobby! How's that for good fortune? But she
was starting to push it by claiming the Chamberlain 6G as "hers"
Well, ok. We can share it then!

Congratulations. Our anniversary is today also. I tried to get her to go along with getting married on the 29th (it was a leap year), but that idea went over like a lead balloon. Of course, we have considerable more years than you, with kids in their 50's now.

Congratulations on this momentous occasion. It's not common any more for a couple to remain married for a lifetime.

I hope that you have many, many more anniversaries.

Congratulations. When I tell people my wife and I have been married 42 years, many say that is almost unheard of. Yall should be very proud of yourselves.

Forty years is certainly nothing to scoff at. Many don't make it that far. So you have something to be proud of. As far ss those with longer terms, just figure they had a head start.

Congratulations to you both. My wife and I are going on 53 years of marriage. We would be lost without each other. A number of years ago we found something we both enjoy and that is raising miniature horses (after we phased out the full-size ones). May you have many more together.
 
Congrats to you both. Today is my wifes birthday also. She is becomeing an old broad. HeHe. guess I need to keep her around though. We been together 53yrs.

Congratulations, This year we will only have half that. Yup, not all sandy loom some clay knobs. But like my Dad told me when I was young, you only get out of it what you put in it. Jim

right behind ya this year makes our 39th,congratulations. been one of rougher falls since having live snakes in house ducting, but found how etc. lifting house in couple weeks so we will have close relations in camper.once again congrats.

Congrats on 40 years, I see you lost your hair from it though! LOL I was bald by the time I was 20. Some time in the future I want to go to Australia and New Zealand, it is going to be a while though.
 
Fellas and gals too. Be thankful you still have your mate with you. I lost my wife of 48 years to a brain tumor last year. I think that was the hardest thing that has ever come my way. We were very close and even were both left handed! I would like to offer a little advice here if I may. Always tell them how much you love them and appreciate them, for you never know what tomorrow may bring. My wife and I went to bed on Saturday night and on Sunday morning I could not wake her up. Tumor was diagnosed that night and 45 days later she was gone. Appreciate them while you still can and enjoy the anniversary years to come.
