I remember reading about it somewhere, hopefully someone will enlighten us. More pic's at MM and gardentractor forums.
 
That John Deere has me all confused... Does it say model "T" ? When did they make those?
The back wheels - are those duals or big singles?
The decal, with the yellow and black boxes...that doesn't look like it matches the age of the tractor.
The frame looks curvey and bowed also.

I'm so confused!

It's a puller with a turbine engine, hence the T model designation (made up by builder). The rears are wide singles for pulling, as is the black weight bracket on the front. Note the exhaust stack size and the turbine insulation wrap. The frame rails were built bowed to clear the turbine. The side decals are from the XX55 or XX50 series era, 1980s-ish.
