Some weather here in NY

Last Sunday we had high winds and -21 below, 8* for a high on monday, today I saw the weather on tv and we hit 62* ? We have had a few cold snaps, but a mild winter over all, now were looking at rain mid week and mud? This has sure been a odd winter for us..

Don't know what weatherguessers said but I saw over 60 on outdoor temp gauge.

Not too far away Jay , and our weather has been much the same . Though we didn't get to see 60 yesterday , I am sure we got close to 50 . Just for the record , no complaints here !

Same here just west of Rochester.We had about 18" of snow on the ground after the big storm last week, now we got about 3 inches. 60 degrees and a stiff wind can make snow disappear pretty quick.

We topped out a 54F here.
Waiting to get the official report from my cousin about how the maple sap ran. It usually takes a day to fill the buckets. We probably will gather for the first time this season tomarrow. We rely on Amish help to gather sap and they don't work on Sunday.

I don't recall a year when we've had a 70 to 80 degree swing in temperature over two days.
That usually only happens when you get on a plane & head south.

Mid 50's here yesterday
Plowed my driveway once this year
Probably less than 10" of snow total this winter here
Ground bare basically the whole winter
Chickens and beefers love it !!

We have been in the 70s and 80s all this past week. One day we were nearly 90 last week. I looked at a long range forecast and it says we will not be below freezing the rest of this winter. Now the Farmer's Almanac tell us we will have another blizzard here in Texas on Easter weekend. Think I am just going to take it one day at a time.

Yesterday we set a record high at 77 degrees. Been since 1996 since it got to 76 so new record set. Next week we are looking for highs in the upper 50s if not lower

I heard that at the Albany Airport last week, they recorded the temperature going from 39 to 51 in ten minutes. This winter has been an odd one - I've only had to plow twice so far.
