what kind of planter is this?!?!?

Well...duh. It was more or less a point of interest...apparently not much interest, LOL. As much fire as you can kindle asking which is better, JD or IH corn planters, it seemed kind of funny to find someone who would go to that much trouble to hybridize one. So basically, since he has the compressor assemblies and grain hoppers from a Cyclo, then all he can have is the drop tube left on the row unit. Pretty much an IH unit with JD open/closing. Makes you wonder why.

Dave, back in the 70s-80s,there were a lot of IH AIR planters with Deere MaxEmerge or KINZE units built and used.It was the best of two worlds until JD came out with their Vac.units.That is the first one I have seen in a few yrs,but if you were going to plant in 15-20 inch rows or beans,it could be well well worth the money.

I bet it works well for soybeans but he is about 50% too high on price. The large planter market is in the dumps right now.
