Cummins in Nissan

Just caught an adv looked to be a badge on side of small truck . Think it was cummins. I know not how to spell cummins as well as spell check apparently .
 

Yes, that is correct. Its a special made engine just for the new Nissan Titan. As a current Titan owner, I would like to drive one, but not sure I'd buy one right out of the gate.

atest GM Duramax diesel is from Thailand. Haven't you learned that the USA is exiting manufacturing as fast as our 'destroyers' can get it done?
 
Seen one two weeks ago and asked about it......302 v-8 cummmins. Cant remember torgue output but in a half ton trk has a gvw of like 9000lbs!! And comes with a factory 5th wheel set up....did i mention it is a half ton truck??

That engine is the one that dodge let go of in 09. Peterson's 4 wheel and off-road magazine says it performs about like the hemi with similar fuel mileage.
There was supposed to a v6 version developed alongside it.
Toyota gets the v8 next year.
Cummins' small diesels are built by a company in China.
 
There is also rumblings of the B3.3 going in the frontier.
I think Chrysler missed the boat on the v8. Make it available as a plug and play crate motor for muscle cars I think they could have sold a bunch.
 
And Dodge went with a little V6 made in Italy. One of the few vehicles that you can actually time with a sun dial.
 
Got it folded down to fit his car. Will let you know when. Just depends on weather and road conditions. Wife thinks it could be powered by flatus.
 
You will have to work on flatus power. I need something to do. Have your boy drop it off ASAP. I have a bad case of cabin fever.
