Going to make tractors in Cuba

Looks like a hefty tractor, built in Alabama?

Essentially a modern version of the allis chalmers G?
 
Interesting.

It will be even more interesting to know the US company involved.

Once known, I will avoid any business relationship with such company or any associated companies.

From what I've read, they will assemble units in Cuba from us sourced parts. So you would boycott your fellow citizens?
 
What is really interesting is the price. Hmmm low cost utility tractor not a garden tractor, $10,000 where have these people been?
 
I wonder if this could be it? Built by John Blue in Huntsville Alabama. I THINK Reuters in Grant was a dealer for those at one time. I saw two of them over there several years ago.

Looks like its the Tuff-Bilt Tractor company from Alabama,they build a tractor similar to the old Allis Chalmers G.They are almost identical to my Hines H-1600 that was built
in Rocky Mount NC often wondered if they didn't sell to Tuff-Bilt.Their list price is now $9650 wasn't long ago it was $7600.
 
Wonder what Cuban farmer could afford one? Cuba is a communist dictator country, that means the regime owns everything. There is no such thing as private property in Cuba. The standard wage in Cuba is $25 a month, anything you make over that goes to the regime. Its external_link's and Marxists like hims vision for the USA.

Here's mine.....a lot heavier than the Allis G. It is for sale.
 
I've owned and used a bunch of Massey Harris Pony and AC G models growing vegetables and can say without a doubt my Hines H-1600 has them both beat by a mile.The Hines has more
power,hydrostatic drive,the rear and front lifts operate independent of each other with hydraulics,implements are easy quick change.
