Anyone having trouble with HR Block software sending return

Finally got my taxes done, and trying to submit. Keep getting message that "We are unable to process your request at this time. If this problem persists contact technical support at 1-888-xxxx." Contacted them Saturday, talked with some barely literate call taker, she had me download program again, same result. Said they would call me within 24 hours. Didn't. Called them this morning, asked for supervisor, same routine, said this is a KNOWN ISSUE. Will call me in 24 to 48 hours. I can't stay in house for next 48 hours babysitting the phone and computer.

Anyone else having this issue?

Back in 06 I took my partnership taxes to HR Block but they did not have partnership forms at that time so had to wait about 2 wks. Havent been back since.

I've been using Tax Act on Line for a few years. Apparently they've improved it because I can't get past the first part of the form I just get a spinning circle with rectangles bouncing around in it. Think I'm going to the Office for the aging and get them to do it for me.

RayP- I've started mine with HRB software, but yet to submit. Hope to this week, I hope you get things worked out. I've used TaxCut/HRBlock software ever since we had a computer- 1987 or so, and have always found it easy and accurate. My only issue was a couple of years I had to file PA116 forms, and their MI program did not support at that time.

IRS problem is apparently solved at this time.

My problem is H&R's failure to accept my files for transfer to the IRS.

Not sure where you are in michigan, but there's a lady here in ionia that is really good with taxes. Way cheaper than hr block, especially if you're submitting a schedule f or any type of business. Email me if interested. I've used her for 4 years now.

Wife uses QBk's, we always print and mail the returns.

Don't know if true or not, but was told a while back that if you e-file the file also contains every scenario you tried to get a better return, possibly triggering an IRS audit.

I know this is not your question but I'll offer I have used TurboTax for years. This year my daughters, my Partnership, my LLC, and two trusts were all accepted by TurboTax and by the State and Federal Governments in less than a day. They really seem to have their act together. Paul

I got an IRS letter in Jan to tell me they got my check but didn't get my return. When I called my tax lady about ten days ago she said bring in the letter and she will re'file my 2014 tax return. She said she had several customers that had the same trouble. She was going to snail mail my 2014. She then did my 2015 and efiled it. Getting back to the 2014 issue she filed in Feb and since I owed she said I could mail my check anytime before deadline and so I sent it on April 13th along with the slip of paper she gave me.
ps I get money back this year!
