That looks like a farm in the Verdigris River bottom that I've been by several times...I bought a WA-40 McCormick tractor just south of it at an estate sale 2 years ago...The neighbors told me that nothing is for sale...

SHUT THAT CAB DOOR! That makes me absolutely crazy when someone leaves a cab door or window open! That thing is all busted up from flapping in the breeze I'll bet.

Ironically, I leave the door on the chore tractor open when I park it (IH886). It's in a sealed machine shed with a cement floor though. I hate those doors so the fewer times I have to open and shut it the better. Also, no one can see it!

Yes,thats the place just south of Liberty,KS..Heres the tractor I bought on down the road a mile or so.....

Geez,I remember when I was a kid,my uncle bought a new 4100 IH like that one. Who'd have even imagined I'd be sitting here right now looking at a picture of one and it being called "old equipment".

LOL...I leave BOTH doors open on the 1586. When I bought it a couple years back it was a little ripe in there. A good cleaning helped. It's in a closed shed but I still find it more pleasant if it has not been closed up.

I like to take the side roads when I'm on a trip just to see this kind of stuff....you can't see it when your on the big roads..

Thereabouts. Some were badged as Hudsons in those days, following the merger in '54, but that one is not.

I wish...It and the WK-40 beside it were sitting on this farm when it was purchased in the 1950's....They went thru the record setting July 2007 Verdigris River flood and were under water.....On down stream 300 homes were ruined in Coffeyville,KS..

Leave it open and the rats and mice won't stay in it finally got the rats out of my combine cab until I closed the door and then they were right back in again

(quoted from post at 07:34:48 02/14/16) Bruce,

What's the chance of someone buying that old Rambler? I don't need another project right now, but I'd love to get something lined up for later.

Tom in TN

Actually, BEFORE they were Nash Ramblers they were just a Nash. That one could be a Nash Super Ambassador ( I6,sidedraft carb and a '3 on the tree' with a Borg-Warner O/D) complete with the front seat back that folded flat to the rear seat cushion for a double bed in case you were going 'camping'. They had a lot of room inside and used 'Unibody' construction so they were pretty-much rattle-free! 8)
