Old Fordson? Whats It Worth?

Found an old Fordson. Guy says it is a 1929, and as running and driving "just a few years ago". Says that he has the original wheel coils and weights for it, and from the picture I have see of it, it looks like it is in VERY nice shape!!

He says he paid $500 for it several years ago, sounds like maybe he would take a little less. With this little info on it, what do you guys think it is worth? I'm not sure I am very interested in it, but the guy is cleaning up, and I think it is risking being crushed, so, I need to at least try to snag it for someone else!!!

Sounds like a model f . Look close at the manifold to see the condition they are not cheap . If it runs and the ignition works and the trembler coils are good your good at 500. If you were closer I would be all over it to go with mine

10-4, thanks for the good advice. It is a little ways away from me, but, I think I will still go look at it... Very interested in it. Trying to get the guy to send me some more pictures of it!!

I passed on a model F because parts were expensive and it
was in bad shape. That was before I got to meet Super Trucker.

He and his crew clean the tables at the tractor pulls with those
Fordsons! I'm sure he can give you good advice and he has the
resources to reach out and get more information if needed.

ST, is your son still pulling pumpkins with that CO-OP?

Yes we still pull the Co oP. I did have the privilege to buy the Fordson with the elec start I showed you. It was a bitter sweet purchase as the owner has passed. We will be in Ionia this year with a FEW tractors.

My boy and myself on the rowcrop and a friend on a all original F model.
