Odd size hydraulic hose

I am looking for a return line for hydraulic fluid, it runs from the tractor rear end up to the front, but the hose is 1.75" ID, I have called several companies, auto parts, hydraulic suppliers and several web-sites. Bottom line is I can't find it. I only need a foot of it. Does anyone know where I can find this odd size hose? I can find 1.5" and 2" but nothig else. Thanks

I think I would recommend actually taking in a chunk to be compared to what they have.

Or, what tractor is it for? Loader? More information here will help get you on the right road.

Not saying what you say it is actually is or isn't, but I've been wrong before and without actually comparing, it's hard to know.

Oil will let them loose their shape, it could and probably is larger now than it was when new,, go by what fits on the fittings if it's a push on,, what model tractor are you working with...

I would keep in mind that a return line is probably under no pressure. That being said, I would think that your options open up a bit and your real need is to choose a line that is compatible with the fluid it is handling and the temperatures it is likely to see. McMaster Carr and others will probably have what you need and probably a couple of feet will only cost $25-$30. Good luck!

He is looking for suction hose connectors to slide over tubeing on a Case DB 1690 which is clamped with hose clamps. One is an adapter rubber coupling going from 1.75" to 2". It was well discussed on the Case DB forum already.

If you are working on a Case David Brown tractor, the Case IH parts book shows a hose, K917126 hose with a one and three quarter by two and three eights diameter. Doesn't say how long it is.

If it's hydraulic, these guys have it or can make it:
Tompkins Industries

Check their website, believe they're based out of Olathe and have many other locations. I've used the Des Moines shop and found them to be fast and friendly. Maybe not cheap, but I found it to be a good value as far as my situation was concerned.
