Farmall cub and Farmall A

Belly cultivators? Maybe- a tobacco cultivator was noted for Cub and also fit A with mounting bracket change. Mower unlikely- PTO shafts on Cub rotate opposite of A and others-- but Woods mower had adaptor drives listed for Cub use for smallest 4 foot+ unit that was also used on small AC and Farmall A, B. Most Cub equipment from IH was specifically for Cub Mounted Use only. Pull type light utility equipment with wheel clutchs or hand lift, pull cords could be used many different tractors of about same power- but remember the cub was a 10 HP light rig and that meant JD H, MH Pony, AC G, IHC A,B were "Big' unit pullers like Ford N.

lift systems arent even close to being the same and i do have both tractors cults and plows. Belley mounts are different but mower dicks are the same "WOODS" THEY WOULD INTERCHANGE IF YOU HAD THE MOUNT.Dont worry about rotation just wind belt dfferent.

on't forget, pto speed is different, it will need different pulley for pto, or a different mule drive.

This deck came off a cub. The direction of rotation didn't matter because the belt twists 90* from the back to the deck. Reverse the twist to reverse the direction. The mounting hard wear came with the A but the deck was trash. It took a little re-engineering to mount, but has been cutting 2 acres of grass weekly with no problems.

Thats a very nice Farmall A. They are to me a very easy driving tractor. I have a '39, not as pretty as yours and no belly mower, wish I did!

I see a lot of those little A's for sale around here and I've been tempted to adopt one several times.

If I come across one with a full cultivator setup I might just get it to work the garden with.

Sharp looking little tractors.

I sold my A with a full set of cultivators last summer.
It only had one good tire. (the one you can't see)
Hand crank only, no electrics at all on this one.
I'm not old but old enough I prefer electric start! :)

Oh yeah, I'd have to have electric start. All my stuff is old but I draw the line at hand cranking.
