144 / 153 CID identifier

I have a Fordson 2000 Dexta/ Super Dexta and need to figure out which engine I have either the 144 or 153. Where can I locate the engine part number to determine which one I have ? Any info appreciated. Thanks !

If you have a 2000/Super Dexta, it's the 153. The earlier Dexta used the 144.

I cannot answer that but the sheat metal is quite a bit different.

Can you post a picture? We could probably tell which you have, then.

The literature that came with our 1964 Super Dexta 2000 said 144 cu. in. engine and 38 hp...don't remember if belt or eng hp.
