Who is going to Gathering of the Green and what are you interested in? I'm interested in:

1. Everything on the parts/display floor.
2. I got behind I did not sign up for the tours I wanted but I still hope to get my wife signed up for the Quilt Tour to DeWitt.
3. The plow seminars by Dave, Tyler, and Other?
4. Anything New Generation. My tractors are 2510, 2520, 4020, and 4320.
5. I still need to look more at the program lists. I can't wait for the show.

I would had like to go but like always I got to work. I hope that Green magazine and two cylinders have penty to say on this. I do get these magazines and they help to keep me in restoreing my project (1955 John Deere 70 Diesel narrow front). If I could had gone I would had been a very broke happy person because I would had been buying parts and haveing them shipped home to me. Well I might try it next year. You know plane ticket, hotel room, plane ticket home?? Some times liveing in So. Cal these show do not come over here you go to them. L.O.L.

I'm thinking about going. I'm two hours south of you in Lancaster. Depends on what comes up between now and then. I've never been to one, and am curious enough to go at least once.

I have been to every single one of them and will continue to do so as long as they have them (and I am able). If you are interested in all things Deere it's a great place to go. If any of you are going on the Ottumwa factory trip and the Cobler tour I will be there helping to tell about the Antique Harvest Days show we have every year in October at the Cobler farm. Come by and introduce yourself. Mike

There is nothing like Gathering of the Green. It is just spectacular. I will be giving a class on Distributor Ignition. I will have another class on 24 Volt Systems and still another on General Electrical Issues. Hope to see you there.

I would go to the workshops if I lived closer, but I think hotel/motel room charges are way too high and I can't make it there, do workshops, and get home again the same day.

A few years ago, we did stop at the show for awhile as we were traveling by from a visit to family farther east.

It has never worked out for me to attend one of these shows. Perhaps one of these years it will. I hear there's plenty of worthwhile info to be had there.
But I do find it amusing that they had to steal the name from Allis Chalmers of all people! Those folks have been having the "Gathering of the Orange" since the 1980's. One would think that the Deere people could be a little more original than that. :)

I wonder if anybody will tell you that the JD 24V system is positive ground ?
