Case DC Water Pump Question

The water pump on my Case DC has a threaded extension with a nut holding the sheaves on in addition to the 4 cap screws. All of the replacement pumps that I can find do not have this threaded extension. Any problem using the new ones without this threaded stud with it's nut?

No the new pumps have a pressed on hub , no need for a nut to hold it on.

dc pumps are easily repaired, carefully disassemble to save old seals (remove wire ring in the impeller), build up rusted/pitted area of shaft with bronze and turn down on a lathe, true up seal surface of pump housing with a lathe, lap the carbon seal on a piece of glass with sand paper and reassemble, I have done several and they don't leak
