UTV tire question

I need new tires on my mini truck I use constantly. Right now it has 23-8/12 tires on it. I found a good price on 24-8/12 tires. That's only the outside diameter, right? Those will work fine on that case.

I'm sort of embarrassed to not know, but I just usually leave tires to the Co-op!

I noticed that Sam's Club has them in stock, but didn't notice the price.

Yes 24s will just be bit shorter tire. May efftect ground speed a little other than that they should work fine.

how would the 24s be shorter?

1st number height, 2nd number width, 3rd number rim diameter. 24s would be an inch taller and fit on the same rim.

As long as you change all 4, assuming it's 4-wheel drive, you should be fine, if you have low enough gears. It's going to make it a little faster, I think about 11%.

I recalculated, and it's only about 4%! I have been unable to edit my post lately, I need to be more careful.
