Bought this at a local estate auction. It looks bad,but appears to be in pretty good shape. The serial tag says Bert Lane Miami florida. Don't know if it's worth the trouble or not.

There is a cute girl the same age as me (30) in Alma, MI that restores the horses for those things. Hand paints all of the horses, she does a beautiful job. My buddy was in the same grade as her in school, he also farms her dad's land. I met her while working on her dad's AC 180 tractor in their shop. She was in there painting the horses barefoot. Does a real nice job.

The stories that thing could tell if it could talk!
I've never restored one Ray, but it looks like it
could keep a guy busy for quite a while.

If those horses are wood I think they are worth big money as collectable. At the Rollog steam show (western MN) there is a group of wood carvers that restore wooden merry go round horses.

Painting those horses is a real art. Heck there are probably custom painters out there that would kill for a project like that. If you don't want to take on the work, with all of the antique nuts everywhere I'm sure you could turn it all around for a nice profit.

Ray, if you rebuild it, they will come!

That's the beginning of a neighborhood amusement park!
