Case 2090 hydraulic issues

I have a 79 Case 2090 and the hydraulics are acting up. When u crank it the lift arms will work and the loader which is hooked up to one of the remotes will work but after a few minutes they will stop then you hit the clutch and you hear a surge at the pump and they start back working again for a few min then they stop again. Not having any issues with power steering or transmission.I have already changed fluid and filters. Any help would be greatly appreciated

sounds like the screen is plugged, usually either brake or clutch linings, , when you shut down the tractor they fall of the screen that is before the charge pump then you are able to get some oil through till it plugs up again, I know on a 23-2590 its not a easy job to fix usually

I have been told before about pto clutch fines clogging filter and screens but when I changed fluid and filters I rinsed the filters in a small bucket and there wasn't any debri in bucket so kinda stumped me on fines cause it was clear, and I didn't understand if it was a restricted filter or screen what pushing the clutch in had to do with it to make it work again for a few min.
