First snow for us.

Well it started snowing a little while ago. We went from 62* or more on Christmas Eve to 24* now, I guess snow then changing over to sleet and freezing rain tomorrow, then temps back up. I can't complain this fall was so much warmer than most. Easy on the wood. We could have power outages, I should have fired up the honda generator today! lol, Stay safe everyone.

This is almost funny. Had floods yesterday and still have lot of water in the fields and yep you guessed it snow tonight. Ya not much but the cars are white right now.

Fargo got hit with bad late floods in the 90s, then it froze hard, it was a real mess.

Woke up to snow in N Texas this morning!

It was 82* Saturday, tornadoes Saturday night, flooding rain Sunday, snow Monday...

The old saying, "Don't like the weather in Texas, just wait a day!" LOL

My cousin & I went to Austin, Texas, in 1955. When we wanted to leave to drive to Brownsville, it had snowed just a bit overnight. All the roads were closed; we couldn't leave town until the snow melted about noon. Us ND boys thought that was just plain silly!

same here Jay (central Mass).

Kind of a slushy icy snow.

And the same temperature drop. Day before I was out in a t-shirt, but then suddenly it's in the mid 20's. Amazing the temperature difference there can be in two air masses side by side like that.

Of course they were predicting a foot of snow at first, and as usual that got whittled down the closer the storm got. I'd say we got about an inch.

The one thing our weathermen are actually 100% reliable at is over predicting snow storms.

This is exactly how it started last year, a granular layer of whatever you call this, then the real snow arrived weekly. Well we are upon the onset of the 90 days of the worst of it, give or take. We sure did get a break on the weather, I've had my stove shut down for over a week it seems. Kind of glad, I was never able to get all my splitting done, but have since put a dent in that, most of my blocked and short length, small diameter is under cover, tractor inside with rear blade on.

Little snow yesterday, after the ice storm. Today was quiet, managed to get a load of wood cut in between snows.
