case 1194/ David Brown

Can someone tell me if there is a David Brown model that matches the Case 1194? I think David Brown manufactured the 1194.

I'm sure someone will know for sure but I believe the 885 DB was an earlier version.

Basically a 990 back end mated to an 885 front end with the lighter final drives of the 885. Some improvements(top half of clutch housing can be removed without splitting), some things not as great as the earlier models(way more wiring).

Still nimble, durable, and easy on fuel like any other DB.

Case bought David Brown's tractor operations in 1971. By the time the 1194 came out, the David Brown brand was no longer being used and it was sold only as a Case.

Thanks everyone. My old 1194 is tough and is very easy on fuel.
