The peanut gallery is always a big help, so...
I worked cattle yesterday and saw something a
haven't ever had. One of my 800 pound new heifers
is bald around her eyes. The right eye is just a little,
but the left eye is bald about the size of a softball.
She's not blind - if it were pinkeye it would have
been bad enough to blind her. I think I've seen this
before but I don't recall what. Is it a deficiency?
Black angus, BTW.
