Apple Mac Computer Problem

Any MAC pros out there. I tried to import photos onto my Apple computer from my camera (which I've done before). Screen would stay on maybe a half second and disappear and a pop-up would say "iPhoto quit unexpectedly". Retry and same thing.

I have an iMac, bu. not a pro.

Try googling the exact phrase you have in quotes. There are a couple good Mac forums.

Asked my daughter, she is a mac user, here she is.....
hello! Is your mac up to date? They got rid of iphoto and its just "photos" now. To check go to your settings and see if there is an option to update it! Hope that helps!

Yours might look a little different depending on version. You can try and repair the library, that works some of the time but I find rebuilding the library usually fixes iPhoto quitting unexpectedly.

I've had to do this a few times in the last couple of weeks (I support a couple thousand Macs/iPads).

Thanks, K. I got to the Command & Option part but the Prompt did not appear, as if iPhoto didn't open. Still stumped, which is easy for me! Do you make house calls??to south-west Pa ?
