Left handed bolt... needed

I need a 1/2 inch X 20 thread (fine) left handed bolt that is 2 inches long. Mcalster-Carr, Lawson, fastnell all have left handed bolts but anything over 1 inch long is course thread .
Any one have another place to look. 1/2 X 20 2 inches long left handed thread

If you can't find one, it wouldn't be too tough to thread one on a lathe, or there's 1/2"-20 LH dies on ebay for $11.00.

I actually asked one machine shop and they kind of hem hawed, don,t think they wanted to mess with it. Looks like the left handed die would be easy enough. It is a lawn mower spindle , normally takes an I inch bolt and there is not enough material to go oversize , only option is go deeper. Thanks for the reply.

The bolt that holds the cooling fan/pto clutch on a Case 220 lawnmower is 1/2" LH about 2" long, and If am remembering right, it is fine thread. If I still had one, I'd send it to you... But, I don't have one anymore.

Here is one solution. I just googled 1/2-20 LH threaded rod. Most any application that uses heim joints on both ends will have a RH and LH threaded rod for adjustment.

No David the original was only 1 inch long. Need to go deeper in the spindle.

Brian, That is great, I think that will work, actually I know it will. I had played around with google but never hit that site. Thanks knew someone on here would know. I am going to try the ih mower bolt as the other poster mentioned but if not this will solve my problem. Thanks again.

boltdepot.com has left handed nuts that they sell individually, I have ordered one before, I have never seen left handed bolts on the site but they say to call for other special fasteners. I know that for some reason 1/2 X 20 thread LH bolts are extremely scarce. I fixed a spindle with 1/2 X 20 LH by having a machine shop bore out the end and weld in a 1/2 X 20 LH stainless steel nut I ordered from bolt depot. Still using same with no problems.

Look for a turn buckle at a local hardware. One half should be LH threaded rod.
