New Holland 6635 4WD

I need to know rather quickly if the New Holland 6635 4wd tractors are any good? I see one for sale today only and wonder if in general they hold up or if there were any particular problems associated with them.

Why would it be for sale for today only??????? Sounds like a fishy deal to me.

They are ok, became the TL, they are not a 40 or TS series by any means though. Don't fall for today only BS, don't want to buy or deal with those folks. The dry clutch models
aren't what you want if you can help it. My friend bought a cheap 6635 for 15,000$ 4wd with a loader, it wasn't on the farm a year before he was fed up with the breakdowns.

In 3 years ive broke both rear axle stub shafts, had continous air
conditioner ptoblems, replaced fuel transfer pump, and broke out rear
window. Dealer is only place for parts, none in salvage yards or
actermarket. If you buy it you will have the only one. I bought it to
replace 4020 and wished ever since that i still had ole green.

Have a 97 7635 with 4500 hrs. It has actually been quite reliable and has been in the family since new. Maybe not the best
tractor of its size but if you can get it for a good price I would have it.

I ran one when brand new, was a nice tractor, ROPS fwa with 24x12 and 7310 loader.

My only comment was it stalled easy compared to any other tractor I'd ever driven. Seemed like it needed the turbo spooling for any power.

I would have bought one based on how they were set up. I also ran a TL100 same config but with cab.

If you see this I would love to hear more about those rear axle stub shafts. What happened when they broke? We might be dealing with the same thing. Thanks
