I got a call from the IRS today. If I didn't pay the money I owed I will be put in jail. This is the second time these bozos have tried this on me. I guess if they put out sever thousand calls they may get a some one to fall for their scam. Stan

Just would be fun to catch them, and put them in a cell with "BaBa" for 20 years

The messages they leave here say they are going to start legal proceedings if I don't call their number.

I have wondered, if I were to call them, sound 100 years old, claim I can't get out, and only have cash, could I get someone to come here?

When the "IRS" or "Microsoft Support" scammers call, I just ask them, repeatedly, if their mother knows what they do for a living and how she feels about having a child who is a criminal. Doesn't take long for them to hang up.

Be careful, taunting these people might make them more determined to make your life less than ideal. Better to just not say anything and hang up.

37 want to have some fun???? Answer them in a foreign language!!!! Learn a few phrases in Japanese, french, etc they will love you!!!

I have gotten a number of calls form some one claiming to be the IRS. So I called the IRS to make sure it was not them and had them check the records to be sure I did not own any thing and they said it was not them who called. Last time I got a call they said they where going to take me to court but have yet to hear back from them but as I know they are a scammer trying to get me to send them $$

I had the same thing happen to, the IRS does not call, they send something in the mail, any way I google the phone number and it was some scammers in Washington state,

You got it!

If I'm certain a call is junk, I'll answer the phone in Japanese and continue talking in Japanese. It drives them nuts. Once, I was talking in Japanese and the guy kept asking me in English if I spoke Spanish.

I'm really not that fluent in Japanese, but I know enough of the language to harass telemarketers, scammers, etc.

The IRS sent an agent in person to contact me once about 20 years ago when I had some issues. And the guy was OK. While we worked through my problem, I sometimes thought he was on my side as much as theirs.

When ever I get one of those calls, I use my air horn. It's the type that you buy at a sporting good store for your boat with the pressurized can on it. I usually give them a 2 second toot and for some reason, they hang up. Did have one guy who starting cussing me out. Surprisingly, one more toot made him hang up. Seems since I started doing that I am getting less calls.

I got one a couple months ago. He said he was a computer tech and I had a virus on my computer. I was waiting on a load of corn at the time so I had time to kill. I kept him on the line for 4-5 minutes till I told him I don't own a computer and he finally hung up. The guy was not from this country or he would have picked up on my sarcasm much earlier.
