So got in a set of bad rims from a Model A doodle bug. So the fun part is I have to take the centers form the bad rims and install them on a set of rims I have. Both sets use rivets to hold the centers in so I have to grind off or drill out or in some way get the centers out of 4 rims and install the Modal A centers into the Non modal A centers. Not sure which way will be easier and faster. Grinding the rivets of then driving them out or drilling them out. Plan to weld the centers into the good rims. Then I get he fun of remounting the tires and tube on the good rims. There split rim or lock ring type rims which ever you want to call. And before you say it yes I have done hundreds of split rims and still have my head so yes I know how to do them safely

If your model A is a car, 16 inch ford wheels from 1940 to 1948 will bolt on. Ford half ton pickup wheels up to 1996 will bolt on. If it is built from a ford AA truck from the model A era, I have no idea. You said model A so I assumed it was a car or light pickup.

Most Model A doodlebugs I've seen were made by combining the front of a Model A car with the tranny and rear from an AA truck like this one built by my wife's uncle back in the mid fifties.
He was a Ford mechanic since the 30s and did a real nice job.
He later installed even larger rear wheels and tires.
It was easy to drive and could climb a mountain like a goat.

I would positively try driving first, then drill only if I can't get them to move with the drift.

If you know what diameter rivets they are just take a drill bit that size and drill down through the head of it and the head will come off. Then drive the rivet shank out with a punch.
