I see he's been telling lies. He showed a picture of himself playing guitar. That picture definitely shows him to be in his fifties. He told us some time ago that he is seventy-two. I didn't think he would lie that way. Paul

I will tell you He may look younger than he actually is from my experience with people over the years. i worked for a guy 10 years older than me, he's 51 now and looked like he was 75 before he had back surgery. i'm 41 and people regularly guess my age at 30. The fact somedays I feel like 60, with joints getting worn out over years of farming, and shop abuse don't matter. I got an 86 year old customer still farming with cattle and doing his own tractor work to. He don't look 86 either, i figured he was about 75, until i saw his birthday/age listed in a local paper.
Don't judge a book by it's cover, some guys have been ridden hard and put away wet, others have been looked after like a one careful lady owner car, in comparison.

I have a lot more gray hair then my 86 year old Mom. At 80 she only had a few. When she goes to the doctors office they ask her age and birth date several times because they think there is an error.

My mom's hair turned white when she was in her 40's the time I was born (I got the blame for that to ) my dad didn't have a Grey hair till he turned 90 . Me it started going about the time I hit 50

I am 75,think I can still do a days work like when I was 35,but at the end of each day while still working on cement floor I feel as if I am 90 or more with all the aches and pains.

But I am still abouve the green and eating three squares a day.

My Dad looked like that in his early seventies minus the guitar. Allen you've got a great gene pool, I hope the house fire doesn't take any years off. I hope you're looking at it as a bump in the road, heckuva bump tho.

I have as well, but dry humor only works in person where you can soften the blow with a smile. Dry humor simply doesn't work on a forum where your body and face language cannot communicate your lack of meanness.

I think the biggest problem here with this post/ and many forums, are there are stupid people out there that would post this age comment or what ever, to just be ignorant or get a hole reaction going with a bunch of people. Just look at what some guys post here for questions, They shouldn't have tools or equipment in some cases, or if you want plain out swearing at post an informed opinion to a video on youtube and see what the clowns say!.
I take it this post was supposed to be a joke, It's all in how you read it. There was no L.O.L or smiley faces anyplace. Computer humor needs that to give a sense of whats being said, and how to take it and process whats infront of you.

I didn't take it as a joke, I took it as a compliment. Says he's 72 but he's been lying, he's only in his fifties. What a compliment! I'd like to be taken as 50. I really fail to see how anyone could take that as an insult. When I saw the picture I thought the same thing, looking pretty good for 72.
