Some years ago my wife actually _requested_ a reel type mower to push around. I happened to find one for $20 bucks. It is old, probably from the 20's or 30's but worked great once I got the shear adjusted. The kids decided they liked it and take turns pushing it around.

I'm not so sure about that....
First, there's the odor of the perspiration that the wife would emit. Second, after a hot day of mowing with that thing, the wife might emit a bad mood.
