WWII vets had a variety of classes they could take under the GI Bill. Dad did agriculture, and that was one of the books they got. I still have it.

14th edition would be from the early 40's. I think the 1st edition was around 1927 or 28.

1927 or '28 sounds right for the 1st edition. I have the 27th edition with a copyright date of 1955.

Remember, the only difference between Deer nuts, and beer nuts, is that beer nuts are a buck and a quarter, while Deer nuts are always under a buck...LOL
