John Deere 40 manure spreader

Hi All,

I am new here and looking for some help to fund a part or two. Anybody out there have or know where I might find a friction clutch for my manure spreader. The forward end of the clutch has a 21 groove spline which is broken at the beating location.
Any help would be appreciated. (Looking to purchase ).

The only advice I can offer is to have a dealer run the part number on a dealer locator and even try the place that deals in obsolete parts for dealers. My dealer used to call it parts central ? but I know it has another name but I can't think of what it is ?
There are still a lot of old parts laying around. Hopefully some dealer had time to list the one you need.

You are talking about the clutch on the front of the spreader right? I have a 40 that I don't use any more, the clutch assembly is still on it. I will look tomorrow how many splines it has. Can you read the part number on yours?
