My wife found this on a house plant. Kind of weird it was dead. Has anybody seen one of these. Is it just a lizard . I know what the penny is!!!!

Wife's brother sent her a plant from Hawaii. A couple days later spiders were hatching in the plant by the dozens. I drenched the plant in bug spray and threw it in the garbage.
 
I agree, an anole. Solitary critters from birth unattended by the parents. They are good to have around. Small dinosaurs, dragons, insect eaters. On occasion I have seen them stalking flies--it is a sight to behold. The flies often seem to tease them and it can be a fatal mistake.

I collected pennies as a youngster and have an affinity for them. I still save 1982 and priors as they are true copper and not the plated zinc that we have now. That 1950 San Fransisco mint would have been a find in my collecting days. It is a beauty.
