Fresh Green Onions.......

I use fresh green onions in a lot of my recipes and I was always buying more green onions.

I would just cut the green part off and throw away the bulbs.

Saw a video on utube and thought it was a pretty good idea, so I tried it. It worked better than I thought it would.

After cutting the greens off, you just place the heads(bulbs) in a jar with some water and place on a window sill. Change/replenish the water every couple of days. Within two weeks, I had new green onions that were over a 16 inches tall!

I was impressed.
