1997 Ford 7.3 compression

What should the engine compression be on my 7.3 with about 135000 miles as I checked it and found a range of 320-340 psi. But the engine seems very slow cranking over while I was running the compression check

With compression the big thing is if it is even on all holes. Not too often anyone really checks diesel compression unless there is a reason to suspect a bad hole etc. Basically if it runs it has good compression

Slow cranking on a diesel with the injectors out might be the issue. It should spin like a dervish Jim

Those numbers sound good. I think it's your starter. If you had all the glow plugs out and it spun slow, it has to be in the electrical side of starting. Batteries, starter, wiring connections.
