Longmire OT revisited

Several months ago there was a thread regarding the tv show "Longmire". The show was cut by A&E . However the 4th season is now available on Netflix. I just found out the last couple days and wanted to pass that along to anyone here that is interested. I have no word on whether they will shoot any new programs in the future or if this will be it but, at least these are available.

Have a good day.

they are filming the next season now also, I get updates on the show via fb,,, "Walt" was the sherriff in Buffalo Wy about 60 miles from me
cnt

What type of device does one need to watch Netflix? I understand one needs an internet connection or data plan such as Wi-Fi. It's amazing how much Dish network charges and they're too TIGHT to be able to show Longmire.

Wife and I watched season four in about a week.Great show and if you listen real close some pretty good one liners. And you get 60 minutes of show with no commercials.

Hector lives!!

You do need an internet connection of some sort, and either a smart TV (internet capable) or a device like a Roku or a Chromecast stick that hooks up to a TV that is not network capable. You can also watch Netflix on your computer, smartphone, or notepad, nearly anything with a video display that will hook up to the internet. We even had a Blueray player that had a network cable port. That didn't work very well.

I believe [and could be wrong ] . When I first heard of Netflix a kid told me you can do it all by mail which means you only need a DVD player.

I use the Roku stick. It makes use of Wi-Fi.

Wife and I are watching it on ROKU through Netflix. Nice to watch commercial free shows and not spend big buck$ on Dish or cable.

Great show. I believe Netflix bought the rights to the show and they are producing it now, so we will hopefully have several more seasons to enjoy.

Some of the shows on Netflix are streaming only (no disk, over the internet). As I think about it if a disk is available in the catalog it will not be available streaming and vise versa.
Sometimes a show is free for a time before and/or after that time you have to either rent or buy it to watch. If a show/movie is showing on satellite/cable then to watch it you would have to pay. Once a season has closed they will usually make it available for a while at no additional cost. After the free period it will go back to a rent/purchase option. Obviously, if you purchase, then as long as you have Netflix you can still watch it at any time. But once you drop Netflix you are done, no disk in hand to continue watching.

I believe that all of the Netflix subscriptions have streaming to at least one device.

If you are concerned about the amount of data it takes for streaming set it for SD instead of HD. The picture is not quite as good but it really cuts down on the bandwidth.

Season 5 was just committed to.

This show got picked up because the people demanded it and put together a great social media push on Facebook and Twitter.

was one show we really liked

Kodi is a free service works like netflix, roki, cromecast and others without any costs or commercials

Not sure they do it that way any more. I pay $8 a month and can watch any of their shows or movies on my computer or iPad.
