Looks like I just MIGHT have a little time to get around to this planter before the weather drives me indoors. If not I am stuck repairing the Cyclo 800...all it needs is the pump repaired. I pulled out the monitor for the 7000 and problem #1 would seem to be that their is a rectangular plug on the monitor but the planter has a large round plug. I see no place on the planter to plug in the monitor. It's a JD monitor so not thinking there was a mix-up at the sale. Anyone know what's up with this?

I have 4 furrow openers for a 7000 I will sell fo $80.

I would say you are right that they mixed up the monitors. The rectangular plug is for the older "black box" monitors. The round plug is for the newer brown monitors. Many 100 through 350 monitors are up for sale these days and are reasonably priced due to some folks updating to electrically driven meters and other options that take their own monitor. Mike

Ag tronix a can sell you whatever adaptor you need, I've got the rectangular vs round setup too, they have a simple adaptor.

Sounds like the previous owner had a 100 series monitor on it. A lot of the older planters were switched from the black box. Prob kept the newer monitor when they sold it.
