Didn't want to go back and work but my wife bribed me

While I was moaning and groaning about being stiff and sore from cutting some wood on Saturday. Wife told me after milking chores where done that if went back out and split wood , she would make some pie. Well now what would you do ? I split wood. Three Apple , three pumpkin, two pumpkin still in the oven when I came in and took this picture. Pie therapy does help the pain .Nice to get my 730 out of the shed this time of year, and have a little job for it to do. Bruce

Bruce, I like your farm. We used to have a lot of family farms here in New York state but most are gone now. Most of the good land is now owned by the BTO"s and some of the others are now run by the Amish who don't seem to produce much other than kids.
Yes, I believe I would work for a piece of those pies. Happy farming.

YUM!!!!!!! I grow apples in B.C. and LOVE apple pie. My dad used to say the only thing better than a piece of apple pie is a second piece of apple pie (with cheese on it). My favorite is made from Spartan apple. Very similar to the Empire for you guys in the east.
