I talked to this guy and he's gonna think over possibly trading my 77 with the 1650 diesel for his 1755 what do you guys think?

I personally do not like the 1755 tractors. they are a small motor in a big heavy frame. I have a 1655 that I love. I traded for a 1755 and found out the 1655 would out work the 1755. It took the extra horsepower just to move the heavier tractor around.

That being said, your trading a 77 for the 1755. That would be a step UP. Now the question is how much boot is he going to want?

I see a 1750, not a 55. Seems like on paper you'd be on the upper hand, so it makes me wonder whats being hidden by the Dupont overhaul. Try to see if you can put it through it's paces so to speak. Don't let your eyes glaze over because of fresh paint...

What's a Dupont overhaul? And I doubt it will happen but I wanted to check with you guys in case it would I will definitely make sure everything is working if I do its not gonna do a
whole lot just maybe plow snow his winter and play around I figured if I wanted to in the spring I could sell for a little more than I could my tractor

Nick that looks like a Dale Wilson tractor he was a Oliver Dealer and has a good reputation. Also he lives in Glenford and really knows his Olivers. Just a little food for thought.

I've got a 1755 and really like it - it's a great hay tractor.
Be sure the three speed shifts nice and crisp - I also think there was a rod bearing update on those motors. I've heard that without the update, they had a tendency to ventilate the block

Bout the same as putting lipstick on a pig LOL, Or a 5 gallon overhaul. All of it just means someone painted over a piece of wore out junk. But it sure look pretty. All show and NO GO

Thanks guys it sounds like its not going to happen but he's thinking it over I think it is that dealer I'm only trading one tractor the 77 I have has a 1650 diesel motor in it
