Perkins powered JCB 930 Forklift

A fiend of mine has a 4 cylinder Perkins in his forklift which has a rotary fuel injection pump. He says the oil level in the oil pan is rising, there is no water in the oil, we suspect it could be filling with diesel. Could this be from the fuel lift pump ot fuel injection pump or have we got it completely wrong, any ideas welcome.

from my understanding it could be either
lift pumps are more prone to leaking past the diaphragm and would be the first to check as they are cheap to replace
if that dosn't fix the problem then the injector pump needs to be addressed
good luck and let us know what you find
don't forget to change the oil

Take the lift pump off, see if fuel dumps out the engine side when you turn the pump on it's side.

There could also be a hydraulic pump attached to the engine that could leak into the crankcase.

Explore all the possibilities before going into the injection pump!
