What do you suppose Volvo gets for this
clip?

Since New Holland wanted $1215.50 for a six foot auger,I'll guess $53. Looks like stainless.

Yup,but you'd have to go a long ways to surprise me anymore when it comes to high priced parts.

Unless you were amazed with how cheap it was and wanted us to guess what a bargain it was?

Guess I shouldn't have complained. They are$3.00 each. They brought a package of 10 and asked if I wanted them all. I thought it would be 3 or 4 dollars. Lol. Nearly fell over when they said over $30.00.

jon f mn,Did your blower motor give out,or blower speed control? If I knew you need some I could have mailed you some(have a bunch in my tool box).Heat/Ac blower cover clips, easy to loose when they go flying when you pop them off don't they!

3 bucks isn't bad for OEM. I once had to give New Holland $20.00 for a small carb spring, in fact maybe the same size as your piece. Sorely disappointed when I later found one for 2 bucks. OEM is always more than its worth.

The blower motor has loose wires. You can't take it apart because the fans are glued on. So you get thd whole fan assy with fans and cages.

Jon,Just make sure you put the new one in running the same direction as the old one.If swapped end for end it will still put out air but not near as much.

These parts prices are ridiculous; yesterday I ordered a new lining for the pulley brake on a Case DC and was told that the lining will cost over $48.00 for something that measures 2.5 by 4 inches. The proper rivets are over $9.00 each and it takes 4 of them.

I got a kind of 'speed rivet' for my mower deck last summer. Thing cost $28!! Looking at it, I'll make one the next time for a bout a buck......

Went to NAPA for a couple of those little keys that go in your Briggs and Stratton flywheel. They had a little paper envelope with great big magic marker "$1.oo EACH NOT THE WHOLE ENVELOPE!!!!!! Guess somebody sold the whole deal for a buck sometime??

Dad and I used to reline a lot of brake and clutch bands for the older cranes. Give these either of these folks a call about the rivets. More than likely you'll need semi-tubular brass for your application. They have the strength needed for most jobs, but are soft enough not to really damage the metal friction surfaces if the friction material gets too worn.
