Hello everyone,
my neighbor is letting me work of the cost of an Allis 10' disc. its a 310 i believe. the hydro hoses need replacement when it went to measure them, the cylinder has me sctraching my head, it is two lines but both come from the top of the cylinder by the ram. Is this a one-way with a return or a two-way? i need to set it for one way. but I'm not sure where to start with this cylinder. If its two-way I'll just add a breather but not sure with this one. I haven't found a manual yet.(I'm cheap) any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

here is a picture you can see the hose on the cylinder

I have never seen a "one way with a breather" using a second hose.

So, most likely it's a two-way cylinder.

So you need to figure out which is the "extend" port and put a breather in the other.

Should work, unless the seals/O-rings/packing on the piston is worn and leaky or the barrel is scored.

okay thats what i was thinking. once i figure which hose i may just plumb the return to the belly pump instead of the breather. all depends on available funds at the time. Thank you!!!!

It is a 200 series disc, 10' wide would make it a model 210.

See the tube below the hoses in your picture. That is what sends oil to what I call the "bottom" or lift side of the cylinder ram. Not a 100% sure but I think that is an IH design. They used cylinders designed like that on their fast hitches.
