Tractors and other old stuff

My son and I hauled to the show which was part of the Texas Czech Heritage Fest in La Grange TX. We always start with a stop at a Buc-ee's for coffee. Some interesting tractors and other vehicles, kids meeting calves, and of course polka music. I'm not Czech but grew up in that area.

Do you know the maker of the little disk machine? There was one like it at our fair this fall but no one knew much about it.

Bolens. The fellow said it was a little difficult to get running but now it does fine. it actually has a reverse

That rascal is a Bolens Ridemaster. They were made in the late 40's to mid 50's.

They started life as the Bean Cutler and the name was changed after FMC bought Bean.

The Bean Cutler was painted red and the Ridemasters were green.

The Tri-Trac was David Bradley and had two wide spaced front tires and a single driven rear tire. Pretty much the opposite configuration as the ride master

It was nice and cool, high about 87. This was the first day under 90 in quite a while.
