Hydrostatic transmission selection

Posting here hoping to find the widest set of knowledge on this opportunity that I am working on.
I have an old dozer called a Windolph made in a small quantity in Portland, Oregon in the late 40's and 50's.
This particular unit is a Model D. The original Windolph dozer had a Wisconsin Model TF 2 cylinder engine.
The TF model is a 16HP @3200 RPM and 32 ft/lbs at 800 RPM. IT also had a transmission made by the old Crosley
automobile company. The transmission is 1st gear 3.27 to 1, 2nd gear 1.72 to 1 and 3rd gear 1 to 1.
The Wisconsin engine and Crosley Transmission got replaces with a Duetz diesel 2 cylinder.
The Duetz diesel is 32 HP and 2800 RPM, 64 ft/lb at 900RPM. The transmission is a Hydraulic pump (Plessey Turolla 200)
and a Eaton 103-10301 hydraulic motor. The eaton motor is only rated at 900 RPM. So that is basically like the Original Wisconsin engine and Crosly transmission in low gear. So max speed with the hydraulic pump and motor are very slow but probably lots of torque.
So I would like to find a used hydrostatic transmission to replace the pump and hydraulic motor. I had looked at a Sundstrand hydrostatic transmission that came out of a Toro Commercial mower that had a 3 cyclinder diesel engine in it.
So any ideas of which hydrostatic transmission might work in this application and where I might find a good used one at a reasonable price. Or is there a company or contact that I can talk to find a solution.
Thanks

Might want to look at the hydraulic motors at Surplus Center I bought a hydraulic motor there to replace the very old one on my Actec Tractor Loader and it worked very well. They have many to choose from.

I work on Toro zero turns. Those hydros are only designed to push that big mower around. They have limited towing capacity and towing shortens the life of the pumps.

If you want a crawler that you can work with, you need to look at something more heavy duty. The guy suggesting look at combine hydros might be on the right track. You probably are going to need a hydraulic oil cooler too.

When I worked on curb forming machines, we used torque hubs for gear reduction and torque multiplication. Parker and Sundstrand components. Seems like there was one other mfg. of pumps too, but can't remember the other name.

U are suggesting he use a hydro from a COMBINE in an application that is powered by a 16 HP engine????

Mtjohnso, Maybe a hydro-static unit from an old skid steer loader,Case,New Holland,Bob Cat,ect. would work good for that little crawler and not be to hard to hook up.The RPMs should match and it would be stout enough.

Might look into Golf course equipment, I've been out of the industry for 20+ years BUT we used to have trucksters that used a hydro static transmission behind a 16HP Kohler engine, they also had a hydro static drive on the Groundsmasters, we had a 1st generation that had a Continental R-839 engine which was actually a 839 cc Renault car engine, Groundsmasters have gotten bigger if you need a heavier unit. I see a lot of parts for them and units being parted out on E-bay.They have introduced some purpose built larger mowing machines for fairways and I'm assuming some of those are hydro static. Another source would be lawn tractors but I'd stick with the bigger heavier units like Wheel Horse, Cub Cadet or John Deere, if those aren't stout enough look for a trashed hydro-static skid steer loader .
