Back in early May I fractured my knee. Stepped on a second step of my painters ladder only to have the step bolt break. This sent me over backwards and in the process I got my foot caught in the ladder. Well something had to give so I ruptured my quads. I am just now back to almost walking. At one point I couldn't even push the clutch pedal on anything I owned. Happy retirement..

Should have thrown that d%%% ladder away years ago. Sorry to hear of your misfortunate accident. Hey guys, inspect you shop for defective equipment before it bites you. gobble

Sounds painful for sure. Where there is a will there is a way. Hand clutches come to mind. I have seen them rigged for people that had their left leg removed and still farmed.

I saw a man working using a 12' ladder when he got off balance and the ladder flipped out from under him and he landed on his face. He was in the hospital and rehab for right at 2 years. Did not stop him. It just took a long time to get back to where he could do what he enjoyed again.

Accidents can happen fast was working on the swather the other day and
the skid loader bucket fell off dropping the header frame on my right
arm luckily we were on soft dirt so it did not break the bone
