Power Steering 730

I want to separate the actuator sleeve from the worm to check out the dowel pins and cam. I have a later version of the assembly that doesn't use a set pin in the sleeve. There's an expansion plug but not sure what that does.
I have manual SM 2016 but unfortunately it only covers the earlier design.
Can someone help?

If you are going to work on this you need the newer manual that covers the improved design. These are difficult enough without trying to decipher free internet written text.
