We used a motor just like that to pump water to our water tank in the 50's. It was connected by a flat belt to the pump. It was army green also. I figured it was army surplus. I still have it. Stan

Its a neat setup. I wouldn't want to be one of the guys who has to carry it around though. Built to last and built HEAVY.

Thank you very much. They sure don't make them like they used to. I don't run mine much, I've used it to run a 110v wire feed welder, doesn't seem to phase it. Mine does have a compartment over the generator, that had a bunch of spare parts and gaskets.
