I would input from some of you about windows email systems. I am tired of using email systems that clogged up with junk that I never use. I need a simple one with no bells and whistles.one that a not too bright person can go online hanks

I use gmail, hardly get any spam. Get a second account for websites that insist on you giving them one and keep your main email account to family, friends, and companies you trust (bank, etc).

Amen to that! Tried to send an email to a company and get a window that asks what program I'd like to use with a list of 6. Of course the one I wanted wasn't even on there! Call them instead, & what do they say... "You know You can use email" What a joke, & a travesty at the same time.

been using Gmail for a ong time and it has never disappointed me. Has a great spam blocker. Never a problem. Highly recommend

My email account is with my internet provider. I WAS using Windows mail to access it, but found it much easier and straight forward to access it from the providers website. I have chosen to NOT set up any spam or junk email filters because sometimes the email you WANT gets interpreted as "junk", and you'll never see it. It is very easy to delete what you don't want. Don't even have to open it first.

My wife likes to use the 'web-mail' portal from our internet provider (Telus). It works kind-of like gmail or yahoo mail in that you can log on to it from any computer that is connected to the internet, and their spam filters work pretty good. I use 'Thunderbird' on linux to read and send emails (also works on windoze) and I also use gmail which has always been pretty good. (I access my gmail and telus mail in Thunderbird.)
